About Us

Orange Futsal Academy is a futsal team for recreational and competitive youth players from ages 4 until adults.

Since 2016 we have been spreading the pratice of futsal as a sport and a training method for the development of technical and creative skills.

Our Methodology

Explanation – Demonstration – Observation – Intervention – Adaptation
  • Our methodology is focused on the technical and tactical development of our players. The development of technical fundamentals and tactical fundamentals will vary for each age group, starting from the simple to the more complex.
  • We also prepare the periodization of training according to the moment of each player and each team throughout the season.
  • The main fundamentals we develop: controlling or receiving the ball, passing, driving the ball, shooting, heading, dribbling, marking, anticipation and protection of the ball.
  • And also the individual and collective tactical fundamentals, such as body position, how to defend, how to attack, understanding game positions individually and collectively

FOUNDER

André Joseph Passantino

Orange Futsal Soccer Academy was founded by André Joseph Passantino, who personally directs all the technical and tactical methodology that guides the training schedules.

André was born in Brooklyn, New York, he went to live in Brazil at the age of 5. There he played for all the youth teams of the Sports Club Corinthians Paulista until he finally reached the professional team. In Brazil, he also played for São Paulo F.C. and S.E. Palmeiras, besides playing futsal in Spain and soccer in El Paso, Texas.

André graduated in Physical Education and has post-graduations in Sports Training and Sports Marketing. After the end of his football career, he worked at the YMCA São Paulo for 18 years. He validated his University Degree in the State of Florida and obtained a Coaching License.

André has since pursued his passion for teaching by encouraging young players to follow his path and develop through the practice of sports.
